Funny story - when Megan initially reached out to me about birth photography, I realized I was actually already following her on Instagram! I knew her name sounded familiar.

A girl who loves her man, her dogs and Paris already has plenty in common with me, so we instantly clicked! As the months went by, we stayed in touch and before we knew it, it was go time.

I got the text from her sweet husband, Ryan, and off I went in the middle of the night to witness something special.

The birth of a child is easily one of the most significant, vulnerable moments in someone’s life. It’s hard to express in words the selflessness and strength Megan showed in bringing her son into the world.

The best thing is to show you.

Southern Seminary Wedding

I always enjoy hearing how a couple met. Isn’t it interesting how a few decisions could lead to something as significant as meeting your spouse?!

Jess and Tim met in Thailand right before she headed to China for 5 months. Tim also went back to China to finish his two year Journeyman term. Both Jess and Tim served terms through the International Mission Board.

And I need to brag on Jess a bit. After reading her vows (in English), she spoke a whole other set of vows in Chinese! You could tell both Tim and his entire family were touched at the gesture.

They chose a beautiful backdrop for their wedding in Broadus Chapel at the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Enjoy!
